Reply to Raphael
Raphael, you didn't provide an email address in your "review" for a reply, and the Internet Archive doesn't seem to provide one for feedback to reviewers, so I'm posting this as a second review hoping you'll see it. The Whole Earth Catalog's title design and logo are not trademarked or copyrighted. Stewart Brand says on his website that all of his online writings are freely copyable, no need to ask for permission. When Whole Earth went bankrupt, New Whole Earth LLC acquired the republication rights of the periodicals, but only for entire issues - the rights to Individual contributions are retained by the original authors. That's the policy we follow with the Internet Archive collection, too. For the staff interviews, the interviewees and I retain the republication rights. But much depends on how you want to use the material. If you have something specific in mind, write me at horvitz@volny.cz to discuss ---Robert Horvitz

WEC Licences?
Hi there, thank you for the Whole Earth Collection. I don't seem to be able to find any information on the licenses of the collection's items. Is there a copy right, copy left or creative commons license? Thank you for clarification. Bests R
